Science Fiction Haiku

on Olympus Mons
sixteen-mile high mars mountain
below room to hide
unknown planet found
molten lava rock giant
blocks earth-like planet
only one graveyard
because of overcrowding
headstones cover moon
alien dodge ball
don’t play with them anymore
they use large boulders
transporter painful
as beamed aboard a spaceship
size of a Frisbee
spaceship lands on field
occupants look just like cows
herd to slaughterhouse
pilot drives slowly
many warning signs posted
asteroid crossing
